I only watched a couple of minutes here or there...really don't watch golf unless Tiger is playing....no excitement without him!   Phil did not look good when they did the post-interview but then neither did anybody else....don't know if the sun was in everybody's eyes or what....or if the altitude was bothering everybody!  Can't wait until the Open so that we can watch Tiger again.

What a shocker!!!  I was out for a post-4th July BBQ and when I returned a couple hours ago was shocked!!!  Guess that's what Webb gets for saying it was more relaxing to play without Tiger lurking!  Looks like he thought he would walk away with the trophy!!

Two unknowns.....3 play-off holes!!  How exciting!!!

And....so pleased with John Daly's performance this week.  He has been playing much better.....happy for him!

Wasn't aware that Webb had said that....."lurking" huh!!!!!   Glad he lost!!!

Go to the pgatour.com site......in the "report" column click on the headline.  Wasn't surprised he said something like that 'cause I thought he was delighting in making putts when Tiger wasn't on Friday.  A little "full of himself" you might say.

Well that's what happens when you "get too full of yourself".....haven't we seen that happen several times lately?????

Yup!!!

Golf is so highly competitive today.  To win you need to be on top of your game every minute.....every shot and putt.  Can't rest on your laurels thinking I've won the US Open.....I've won 2 other times on tour....I'm just simply better than anyone else.  Won't cut it today :-)))

But then.....we know who is the best :-)))  74 pga wins, 14 majors, 3 W's this year alone!!!  Simply the best.....that's our Tiger :-))))

But.....when he's playing.....he's focused.....he knows the competition is fierce.....he knows you can miss a cut just as easily as win.....

And I think that's the difference between the "older" (and I don't mean age wise) golfers who seemed to show more respect for each other than the "younger" generation who let that "one moment of fame" handed to them by the media go to their heads!!!!!  Tiger has never and would never have said anything like that whether he felt like that or not.
