Sorry Boss, but I couldn't be less concerned with your "desk" and what you want on it by such-and-such a time. But ...for the sake of argument (and with a fair degree of indifference) I will respond to your rhetorical jibber-jabber.
1) Who cares about the other golfers on tour? ...not me ...this website is called "tigerwoods.com" ...not "anonymousprogolfers.com". And, please stop touting Tiger's winning record (duh). I'm pretty sure 99% of the civilized world is aware of Tiger's past accomplishments. To keep bringing up Tiger's historical winning record almost sounds as if the final chapter has been written regarding Tiger's professional career, and we all know nothing could be further from the truth. What all TTF's are concerned with at this point is what he's able to accomplish in the second half of his career, and only Tiger has the final word on that topic. OBTW, Tiger Woods wasn't on tour "30 years ago". Tiger turned Pro at 20 and this season will be Tiger's 16th as a PGA golfer.
2) Phil who? I don't care about Phil and his professional record ...yada, yada, yada. He has his own set of problems to contend with (albeit, last Sunday's performance at Pebble isn't one of them).
3) Lastly, I have no desire to find fault with Tiger Woods. We all go through ups and downs in our careers -- regardless of our vocation.
Maybe explaining my point/s this way will be helpful to you and others possibly doubting my TTF status.
Last Sunday Tiger Woods got a taste of what he had been inflicting on the majority of other pro golfers for more than a decade ...and it looked to be a pretty bitter pill for Tiger to swallow -- case in point, Tiger missing a ridiculously short birdie putt on 18 to finish in the top ten. It didn't help matters either that it came at the hands of Phil Mickelson, someone the golfing media has attempted to pit against Tiger from the beginning. After last Sunday's performance by Tiger -- going from -11 to start his round, to -8; and Phil demonstrating the scoring conditions were more than adequate -- anyone who vehemently disagrees that Tiger seems to have a bit of a mental demon, or two, hampering his Sunday performances of late is a tad bit disingenuous and only serves to exacerbate the situation. I'm sorry, but denial is not an option when wishing to solve a problem.
Again, being faced with this kind of situation is uncharted territory for Tiger and he's going to have to find a way to navigate through it. Killing the messenger doesn't alter the validity of the message. All I'm doing is pointing out the obvious and hoping Tiger can get it squared away ASAP, so we can all see him winning again. If it were anyone else I'd have my doubts, but Tiger has shown his competitive mettle time and time again, so I know if anyone can do it, he can. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the 2012 season unfolds.
