Yeah.....it is great to be able to play nearly 365/year.....however, my aging body would have a problem with that much golf!!!  Today I am feeling yesterday's round :-)))  One thing I love about my golfing buddies here is that anything goes......no one is afraid of trying some of the most difficult, challengining venues.  Neither are they afraid to travel a bit.  Adds some interest not to mention desire to hone our games.  There are 40+ courses within The Villages.....10 championship and 30 executive.  But we don't limit ourselves to what is available a golf cart ride away.  We routinely play once or twice a week "Off the Reservation" (OTR) and will travel 1 to 1-1/2 hours.

Golf is good.....Life is good.....ENJOY!

Dragon I wish I had your golfing skills. I've always loved playing with good golfers. I recently played with a +2 guy. His swing was poetry. Looked a lot like Ernie Els, totally effortless.

Walking past PGA Tour Shop in Charlotte airport. Customer asks employee, "So, what's your handicap?" She responds, "I'm not handicapped!"

10, You are a great golfer. What's the weakest part of your game? Mine is my short game. The shorter the chip the more I freeze! I'm better from 100 yards than I am from 10 yards :(

Guess we ought to sign up for the same "short game" lesson!!!  That my biggest yank too !!!  I either flub it or whack it across the green.  Like yesterday.....I was maybe 50 yrds from the flag....had a big mound blocking my view.  Took out my pitching wedge intending to launch it high to get over the mound.  Well....I had room to spare in making it over the mound......and hit it pure enough to go 20 yrds PAST the green into the side of yet another mound!!!   YIKES!!!  Needless to say....no birdie :-))

Been there done that!! It's called how to turn a possible birdie or easy par into a double. :(
