Here is the classy way to comment on what unfolded:

Q: How cruel can this game be?

TIGER WOODS: Well, it's happened to all of us at one point or another. We've all been in positions to win golf tournaments and sometimes people go ahead and win them and take them away from you, other times we make mistakes. And that's just the way it goes.

Adam is a classy player,  I thought he was gracious in his loss and didn't duck anything in his interviews.   On the last 4 holes he made some judgement mistakes,  more conservative play with the lead might have changed the outcome.   I'm sure that the many references to learning form one's mistakes here will make him a better player in the future.

I've moved on,   Tigers cady is now Joe and Adam's cady is Stevie.   I don't find that the focus on Steve does anything.  It's really not important to Tiger anymore.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion.

My opinion stands.

I could almost like Adam if he was not golfing for Stevie.

Know what, buddies......this thread is so totally out of line!  I realize it is in fun, but I find it embarassing that fans of Tiger Woods just cannot control their anger/hate appropriately.

Sure......I do not like Steve Williams.  He has a loose mouth and a head too big for his cap.  But his relationship with Tiger is done.  Adam Scott is a fine young man and a very good golfer.  When you continue to bash his caddy you also bash him.

Just my opinion/feeling......let's grow up and like Tiger move on!

Thank you, VG, for spelling it out. It is just so sad to come onto this board and see things like this. I am done.

VG, I couldn't have said it better. I think it says a lot about a person when they take delight in another's misfortune. It's also blatantly obvious that anyone who roots against a player because of who his caddy is knows nothing of golf etiquette, and clearly does not play the game,
