You got it right. God is the One with the plan. The Bible always uses "in due season" to describe God's timing. I saw the presser on TGC. Tiger still sounds optimistic. He did seem a bit impatient though, didn't he? In fact, he fidgeted like that at all his pressers where he was standing up. Oh, take next week off and he will be playing again. Won't be a Major, but an important one nonetheless.

Look at it like this. He could move up to #2 in the world monday without playing anywhere near his best.

Woods' tie for third @ Lytham moves him to second in the World Golf Ranking. Not a claret jug, but it's something.

YES!!!  And overdue in my opinion!!  He should have moved up from 4th after his third win this year!  It won't be long before he's #1 again :-)))

At least Tiger will earn it by playing well instead of just backing into it.

I have felt Luke Donald did. The week he become #1, he did not even play. Got the news while lying on the sofa watching. Now, he is a good, if not great, golfer, but a first place should be earned.

Yes, it did dash his hopes but I was more concerned about the impact it would have on his leg. The announcers kept saying that he should take a drop shot (not sure if that is the term) and that made a lot of sense as he may have made just  a bogey BUT he must have felt that he could get out of the bunker...and why shouldn't he? I know that he is making swing changes that would protect his leg so he should make decisions on the course that would not cause further injuries. Anyway, let's all hope that he is okay. I posted a note about staying positive and from reading pther posts, he had a very positive interview, he has moved to number 2 ranking in the world so a lot to be grateful for....and congratulations Tiger.
