DAY EIGHT (8)
FINALLY, SOME ALONE TIME
EYE love these quiet times all to myself . . .
just me out here, alone with my thoughts.
DAY SEVEN (7)
U. S. OPEN PAIRINGS
TIGER > PHIL & BUBBA
Increased visibility and publicity
(for Phil) . . .
Eye agree . . . Tiger looks fit and toned.
As a former part-time personal fitness trainer (for Bally Total Fitness), I always get a kick out of seeing Tiger on the golf couse snacking on a peanut butter sandwich or a banana, and drinking bottled water.
He has a great fitness routine; and clearly knows what he is doing.
DAY SIX (6)
Heard about Tiger, Bubba and Phil early this morning. Are the organizers out of their minds? They paired Tiger, Phil and Adam Scott at Torrey Pines in 2008 and it was a huge mistake! "The United States Open's big showdown turned into one big letdown on Thursday." Just one of the quotes about the 2008 pairings.
I would say this course favors Tiger's game, go get em Tiger : - )))
2003 Jim Furyk Olympia Fields Country Club
1998 Lee Janzen The Olympic Club
1987 Scott Simpson The Olympic Club
EYE think this pairing is ridiculous . . .
It is nothing more than a distraction for Tiger; and amusement & increased ratings for the press, because they know the world will be drawn to the coverage, because of this (make-believe) rivalry between Tiger and Phil).
It means increased publicity for Phil (which he otherwise would not receive) from Tiger's worldwide network of fans; plus Bubba (is a nice guy); HOWEVER, he is not in Tiger's league (regardless of his win at The 2012 Masters, or the fact that he attended college at UGA in my home State).
EYE think every course favors Tiger's game, if he remains focused as he did at The Memorial.
I can't wait for PGA WIN #74 for 2012.
