gppg, :-)
yeah. it's ok that we disagree. but i believe course management comes
into play at all times. no matter how a golfer is hitting it.
sometimes it is more noticeable than at other times. but i believe it can
help a person dig out of a hole, or at least , help to make the hole smaller.
even if it is nothing more than walking away from a bad day or a bad shot,
with a better outlook and good perspective for the next tourney or the next shot.
commentators don't talk about course management they way they used to.
but it still has an impact on the player and his/her game.
one has to be able to stay on top of their emotions, not allowing bad
feelings and emotions to take control of what they are doing on the golf
course. it does not mean a peson goes into denial. it just means that
a person makes sure they stay in the right frame of mind as they are
playing. if angry and negative emotions take control, it can and does
effect a golfers performance. and i believe i could see it in Tiger's
play. and i have been seeing it for the better part of a year, i just
did not pay much attention to it because he used to have such
great course management. but now i realize that is what i have
been noticing. yes. the swing change is in process, etc., but i also
think his course management has to be sured up as well.
it helps a golfer to quickly put bad shots, etc. , behind them as they
approach their next shot. and when they can clearly focus on what
they want to do on each shot, they begin to have and keep the
advantage.
