I've had the chance to play a number of courses where various professional events have been held, and you can't help but be impressed by the skill that these pros have. My handicap has fluctuated between 0 and 4 for the past 40 years or so, but I've struggled to break 80 on courses like Spyglass Hill, TPC Scottsdale, Harding Park, and the Olympic Club when I've had the opportunities to play there. As they say in those ads, "these guys are good"!
I imagine you're enjoying the opportunity to play more golf in Florida than was the case in Vermont, huh? I have a sister who lives in New Hampshire (well, actually 4 sisters who live in NH, but only one plays golf), and she's played her first 2 rounds of the year in the last 10 days or so. I can't imagine living anywhere where I couldn't play year-round.
