I agree, they just kept shoveling Phil down our throats during the pre-game leading up to The Masters.  The part that sickened me the most, was knowing they had Phil's entire family already lined-up and positioned for the kiss for his wife, and huggs & kisses all around for the rest of the First Family of golf.

Right on cue (even though Phil lost).

Your "old lady group" sounds awesome.  They remind me of a dear older cousin of mine; she ONLY watched Fox 5 television; from sunrise to sunset (may her soul rest in peace).

The point you make is spot on, Docc.  One day last week (during The Masters), I was driving home from the office (listening to ESPN and their Masters' coverage).  Based upon their review, I was feeling really sorry for our Tiger and the "horrible" round of golf he played that day.

I arrived home, log on to Tiger Land to discover that my Tiger had even par for the day.

Eye Tiger … I just read your post responding to me. Sorry about just now giving you my response. About this issue … I could write a book.  Ethics in Journalism is no longer something held dear.  Now it appears to be “say what ever it takes to get people riled;” and to fill air time, something they now have way to much in abundance.  Stupid remarks get swept under the rug and topics are made fact simply when commentators seated in the same room agree. Some people appear to listen to every word, I call them “Brain Nots” those who refuse to think for themselves, and unfortunately believe “if it was said on TV God knows it has to be repeated and supported without question”.  Again Eye, the only thing I can do is hit the mute button. If Tiger or another player is speaking live, I’ll listen.

I hope y'all don't think I'm a pretenda.

I just want to see him enjoy the game as he once did.  Remeber the smiles, the fist bumps with the fans, the waving of his hat.  I believe that personality was much more relaxing for him and would love for him to get back to that place.

I hope this does not come across as "Tiger bashing" because it is NOT intended to be.
