The multi-names are easy to spot aren't they ?
I don't feel any part of my life is any of his business.
I keep hoping there is no limit on how many names can be added to the ignore list. Already added 2 more today.
Having him on ignore means DK has a happier day too.
Unlike him, I'm not here looking for a keyboard fight.

Statistics. What are the various handicaps here? I'm 12 and getting worse with age. Best I ever attained was a 6.

Pen.....not directly related......but I played TPC Tampa Bay today....site of the Champions Tour tournament two weeks ago!!  What a course!!!  Par 71.....double par would be 142.....my score:  it's really a secret but somewhere between 71 and 142 :-))))

Even with HD you just can't appreciate the courses the pros play!  Moguls through the fairways, deep and angled bunkers protecting greens.....and the greens:  like glass!

VG, it sounds like you had a great time, despite the challenging conditions. Don't worry, we won't force you to divulge your score!
I've had the chance to play a number of courses where various professional events have been held, and you can't help but be impressed by the skill that these pros have. My handicap has fluctuated between 0 and 4 for the past 40 years or so, but I've struggled to break 80 on courses like Spyglass Hill, TPC Scottsdale, Harding Park, and the Olympic Club when I've had the opportunities to play there. As they say in those ads, "these guys are good"!
I imagine you're enjoying the opportunity to play more golf in Florida than was the case in Vermont, huh? I have a sister who lives in New Hampshire (well, actually 4 sisters who live in NH, but only one plays golf), and she's played her first 2 rounds of the year in the last 10 days or so. I can't imagine living anywhere where I couldn't play year-round.

My current index is 3.4, but have been as low as 0.1. At age 66, I understand what you mean about getting worse with age!
Don't expect a response from Paul or Bill...I'm not sure either would know what a handicap (or index) is.

You will stop calling out other members right now or be gone.   There was no reason in that post to mention Paul or Bill except to agitate and I'm very tired of it.  ENOUGH!

Yeah.....it is great to be able to play nearly 365/year.....however, my aging body would have a problem with that much golf!!!  Today I am feeling yesterday's round :-)))  One thing I love about my golfing buddies here is that anything goes......no one is afraid of trying some of the most difficult, challengining venues.  Neither are they afraid to travel a bit.  Adds some interest not to mention desire to hone our games.  There are 40+ courses within The Villages.....10 championship and 30 executive.  But we don't limit ourselves to what is available a golf cart ride away.  We routinely play once or twice a week "Off the Reservation" (OTR) and will travel 1 to 1-1/2 hours.

Golf is good.....Life is good.....ENJOY!

Dragon I wish I had your golfing skills. I've always loved playing with good golfers. I recently played with a +2 guy. His swing was poetry. Looked a lot like Ernie Els, totally effortless.
