The Burner is not very forgiving.....hit it 100% and you get magnificant results......hit it just a fraction off and not so good results! I'm gonna try me one of 'dem Rocketballz for sure :-))))))
Gotta stop raining first!!!! Tropical Storm Debby is really causing havoc here!! The rain has been horrific all day and is due to continue into Tuesday :-((( Good news though.....our drought should be OVER :-))
So you are beginning to see what life is like in Florida during Hurricane Season.....we had such a terrible heat wave last week - 97 and 98 degrees with high humidity...then it finally broke last night and dropped down to 59....today was fairly comfortable. Keep dry!!!!! And you did say you needed the rain!!!
Yeah.....we did need it......but now we're out of the drought stage for sure!! It can stop anytime now :-)))
Imagine if you lived in the Panhandle
Debby could bring total rainfall accumulations of 10-15 inches to the Florida Panhandle, with isolated accumulations of 25 inches. Seems like it has been far worse on the west coast
I haven't heard updates on rainfall here in central FL since 6:00.....but at that time Tampa Bay was over it's banks and areas throughout the region were expecting 6-12 inches today alone. The problem is the storm is fairly stationary and just dumping on us and the rainfall is as severe here as on the Gulf Coast. I left Tallahassee at 9:30 am in a light drizzle. When I got to I-75 (about 80 miles away) I drove into torrential rains......all the way south to The Villages (105 mi). It was horrific driving! And the rain hasn't let up at all. I have a large planter that I store a hose in for my front courtyard and it has filled to overflowing with water. We're forecast for this rain to continue all day tomorrow and into Tuesday..... Just plain ole nasty weather! Reminds me of those nor'easters!
Getting ready to build an ark :-))))
No golf today :-((( Rained all night and still raining this AM.....rain bands keep coming through! Could get another 5-6 in. today! Just loved the NOAA alert a 4:53am extending tornado watch 'til 2pm :-((
