She's trying to tell Payne something!!!!  BTW, they keep talking about how Rory came back at the Congressional by 8 strokes, everyone forgets, that is supposed to be the hardest set-up for all the majors!  They couldn't get the stimp meter where they normally do because Mother Nature saturated the greens.....so we all know how many short putts he misses but because the greens were so soft when he got it close he was able to drop it in.  I'll admit, Rory can stick the pin pretty close, much like Tiger has but he was soooo....bad at 3 footers he reminded me of PM.  Maybe Stockton has changed that for him but this WONDERFUL COMEBACK had nothing to do with anything other than MOTHER NATURE.  They talk about the weather now, at the Masters but forget to remind us of the weather at the Congressional last year.  I would bet Rory wouldn't have won by so much if the course had been normal, if at all!

upt......I keep hearing TGC that they will have 7 hours of coverage tomorrow and I looked forward to tomorrow and ESPN starts coverage for 4 hours straight at noon PST.  4 hours is about right for regular golf and 5 hours for a PGA event.  Even last year, TGC didn't change their line-up on the guide but still covered the round.  Oh, it was ESPND......so check out both in your time zone.  I think TGC said 8am.....so for me that would be 5am....anyway, check your channels accordingly.  Hope they get it right with all the hype they have put into the Tiger/Rory ahem....rivalry, it would seem that they would cover it.

I did just hear from PM that Augusta has an air system under the greens so they can dry them out....we'll see, time for Tiger to stick it close like he used to.

Only reason Rory won the Congressional by so much is he can stick it close but misses 3 footers all the time.....he's been working with Stockton so maybe that has improved.  But at the Congressional last year the greens were so wet that his approaches stuck, the Congressional is supposed to be the toughest of the majors on the greens stimp meter - they couldn't even get close.

To answer the question: No, I have no idea why they're faxing scorecards. Gee, if only there was some CEO from IBM around here to help..

Rory McIlroy posts opening-round 1-under 71. Greatest retribution from a cabin since Abraham Lincoln.
