@ "no problem if a fan of a sport plays a

particular sport or not."

That's true.
I was joking with the fool but of course that didn't work.
The fool thinks I don't know the rules because (when he was using another name)
and I said Majors are not counted as PGA wins. Which I believed was true.
One good thing about this forum, you can learn what's true, or not true.
When someone else, may have been you, said they are counted, then I changed how I thought about it.
I was not going to believe that fool about it though.

Have a good day

:-))

It's not a question of me 'thinking 'anything. You have shown you don't know the basic rules of golf. You have shown you don't  know how to interpret

Millions hack their way round courses and millions claim to know all about the game.  Your own posts have shown  you don't know the game.  Take heart, you are not alone.

Wow, now you have a problem thinking too.

Didn't know you are playing on the PGA Tour, congrats. You must, you seem to be a pro.

Moving on to people who actually know something about the game. And not some wannabe who doesn't even know basic rules.

Pendragon. I see your brother never played in the British Senior Open. Any reason for that?

Good question. For most of the time that Allen was one of the top Champions Tour money winners, the Senior British Open was not any sort of major event. There was no compelling reason to go over there. The purses were nothing special, and it really wasn't worth the trip. Looking back at some of the winners (Brian Huggett in 1998, Christy O'Connor, Jr. in 1999 and 200, Ian Stanley in 2001, Noburo Sagai in 2002, and Pete Oakley in 2004), you can get the idea that this event did not draw the strongest fields. Clearly, it's gained more stature in the past several years, but I think it's too little too late as far as Allen's concerned.

Paul, I've missed some of what's been discussed here, but how difficult is it for you to either confirm that you do play golf or admit that you don't? While it's certainly not a requisite that you play golf to be a contributing member of this forum, it might lend some credibility to some of your comments. You can make light of melom's comments if you wish, but his questions aren't really out of line. It's a simple question...yes or no?
