Along that line of thinking, I found it interesting looking at Webb's tour stats up to the US Open. They were actually pretty bad: Total Driving 151, scrambling 156, sand saves 139, ball striking 75, but scoring 18th. He obviously turned it around enough to win.

Obviously, Tiger played much worse versus his stats at the US Open. He has stated before, it is a progression with him, doesn't seem to just click at once, and majors need a higher level of confidence. It goes like: he has two good rounds, then three rounds, then competing on Sunday.  He still has time to turn it around this year at the open and pga.

TIGER WILL BE BACK, HE WILL BE THE TIGER OF 2000

This!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know why people think he can't get back to that Tiger when most of them say Hank's swing was not as effective as Butch & even Sean's swing. Tiger needs to clean up the putting and be a tad more consistent with the irons so he's not putting from 40ft. He will be better than he was in 2000.

The part that let him down at the Open that worked well at the Memorial was his short game!  It pretty much fell off the wagon.  I don't know if it was the choice of club or the grass or his confidence but I guarantee you he is hitting a lot of wedges in practice during his time off before the AT&T!!!  He knows what's broken.  He'll fix it!!!

He sure will!!!!!
