Forget the C words, what happened to Tiger on Saturday & Sunday at the Lake Course was a simple case of trying too hard which led to the freeze up of his game.  Tiger needs to develop a more casual and fun approach to the game of golf and tournaments.    When you try too hard to achieve a goal sometimes it will escape you.    As a fan of Tiger on Sunday I knew because he played so poorly NBC would limit the coverage of Tiger.

The next tournament for Tiger is the AT&T National and Tiger will rebound and play once again for the "W".    It will be interesting to see his body language as he plays in Bethesda.

Can anyone explain to me the relationship between the PGA Tour and the USGA because I would like to know who will determine the placement of the tees and holes at Congressional in 2012?

I hope Congressional plays tough this year and Rory comes back to play it again.            lol

I don't think there's anyone kicking Tiger more than he's kicking himself right now.

Let's all lay off.

No more green shirts Tiger.....lol

Hey V:

The AT&T National is a PGA Tour event, so the PGA Tour tournamernt staff (probably Mark Russell) will determine pin placements. The US Open was USGA event so Mike Brown and staff did the pin placements and influenced the course setup there. I believe the R&A will control the course setup and pins for British Open, and the PGA of America staff will control PGA tournament. The Masters pin placements were determined by ANGC during their tournament.

Actually.....we had a poster who had Direct TV on Sunday and she said Tiger was having a great time on the back 9 holes....laughing with his caddy and waving to Padraig Harrington when they were on oppoiste holes.

I saw the same thing. But it's easy to be happy and loose when there's no pressure. All of Saturday and through the first nine Sunday, Tiger was wound up tighter than a snare drum, and not even a hint of a smile to be seen anywhere. Once he hit 9 or 10 over over, it didn't matter after that. So yes, he played well on the last nine, but you have to look at it in context. On the positive side, it certainly gives him something to build on going forward, I guess.

I just don't understand the necessity of everybody pounding on the subject.....the tournament is over....and why is it so necessary for you and others to continually bash those posters who have tremendous faith in Tiger Woods and are happy being that way.....it doesn't harm you in anyway.  And then you all get bent out of shape when they counterattack....just let it be!  And I don't have to look at it in context....I can look at it anyway I want to....End of our discussion

That is the premise of their posts!!

They want the regular Tiger fans to agree with whatever they say, but if we don't we are delusional!!

You haven't noticed this yet girl? LOL
