And both should include yahoo not just those posting, yahoo lets it continue no matter how vulgar/racist it is, and the writers say they enjoy reading it.

Hi Beat......I'm with you!  How TGC will cover this but I don't expect it to be any more than a 3 day news cycle just as the kid that almost won a few weeks back that was charged with criminal activity along with many other players from the Nationwide Tour.  THAT only got 3 days worth of coverage and it was an actual crime.  I had posted that it wouldn't last any longer than that from TGC and of course it didn't.  So, whether it be Phil or Tiger it IS shameful, especially what they did to Tiger and continue to do.  I would bet that Phil does not get the same treatment either but again, Tiger nor Phil's activities were not illegal AND are their private lives!

There were text messages, voice mails, witnesses, and most of all... women who were involved with Tiger during his scandalous actions. While it was just as unethical to ruin a mans reputation for profit, they did it because they had evidence.

This scandal rumor that sparked from two random forum posters contains about as much nonsense as your post. If what the media did to Tiger was so terrible, why do wish it upon someone else?

I know what you're saying... You know Tiger is on a whole other plain when it comes to he's life. I just don't think we should perpetuate this cr&p!!!

Phil is fighting an uphill battle. He may not like what is being said but, he will have to prove the people named started the rumors. Those rumors go back a few years on the internet so unless he can say they are the original source I don't see his legal case getting very far. The rumors have also been investigated by SI and another publication so somebody felt there was enough smoke that the stories should be looked into.

I think Tiger wanted it to go away. Taking the approach Phil has taken adds more publicity to his problem. Whether the media rides this into the ground like they did with Tiger remains to be seen but, I don't think they will.

You bet Paul, you call it like you see it and there isn't anything better than calling someone out on doing the right thing!

How do you know these 2 started the rumor? Is it because Phil said they started it? Whose to say there are no witnesses text messages, photos etc that may eventually come to light in Phil's case?
When did I say I wish something terrible upon Phil? I asked a question. If this  topic is too intense for you then exercise your right to stay out of the discussion because I'm going to write and say what I think.

Yea Beat......that info about Phil has been going on even longer than Tiger's.  Makes you wonder why TGC didn't move on it!  But then again the commentators on TGC (until Tiger's incident) looked like the republican  nominees.......couldn't help myself!  Wonder what Hootie thinks of this, will Phil be guilty until proven innocent?!
