It will only go to DK if you put her name in the to section of the post and click email under options

If you're sending DK an email your email address doesn't have to be in the profile

They don't have your email address.....when you register you had to give an email address.  If I wanted to email you that's all I have to do is press email and it goes automatically to you but I won't know your email address.....I'll only know it if you respond to me through your computer email (not the message board).

Okay my friend!!!!!  Let's calm down a little bit!!!!  I did get a very vulgar email a while ago from one of the posters on the board!  My best advice to you is to do what I said.....send an email to Donnakaye and tell her that you go a personal email.  Then just delete it from your computer.  The idiot who did this to you has no way of knowing what your email addresss is.  And ignore anybody who tells you not to be upset.  I don't know what was in that email you got but I'm figuring it wasn't good....and it is against the law to send anything through the email that is either obscene or threatening in any way. 

Well...there are those of us who do email each other but it is by mutual choice.  I understand how violated you feel....I had never gotten an obscene email before and it shook me up a little.  But please don't be frightened.  It is just somebody who has no brain and this is the only way they can get to feel superior!!!!!

This is what it says under Preferences ....Member to Member Email

Do you want to allow other members to send you email? (Note: Email will be sent to the address associated with your Membername. Other members will not see your email address when they write to you.)

 

As Paul suggested, you can just change your preference so that nobody can send you an email then you won't have this happen again.   I'm so sorry you have been so upset by this....l do remember how it felt!
