shenlee,

i know  Tiger doesn't choke.

when he was vacillating about

whether or not to change his

swing, back in the middle of the

summer, 2010, all of what we have

been witnessing is what he was

talking about.

he knows the time frame it takes

for him.   and he also knows how

certain media types attack as he

goes thru that process.

believe me.

NONE OF ANY OF THIS IS TAKING HIM BY SURPRISE.  lol !!!

:-)

but he is close.

GO TIGER.

:-)

p.s.  --  however many of the mis-informed and nit-picking golf writers and critics
(not the good ones, but just the nit-pickers) are being taken by surprise.
and there is a myriad of reasons for that.

kind of like when they

finally

figured out, like we all did, (  lol ! )

after the fact,

that a group of golfers from Ireland (3 of the golfers) and South Africa (one of the golfers)
would win all four majors; and three of those golfers had the same agent.  to me.
still the biggest story from last year.  lol !!!

but most of them spent their time nit picking about Tiger while they, as
writers and reporters, were

in the midst of being taken to the cleaners.

lol !!!

hum.  wonder what's in store for these  nit-pickers ( lol ! )
this year.

i guess we will all have to find out together; since we can't rely on our....

nit-picking golf writers and reporters to ................

actually break  a real golf  story.   ;-)

of course, i am not talking at all about the good and great golf writers out there.  because they
are some of the best out there, and they had better sense than to constantly follow Tiger around
and look for him to make a mistake; so they could be the first to report it.   they simply, reported golf
as it happened.  and to them, i take  off my hat!!!
i am always interested in what they have to
say.   why?   because they can be trusted to tell the truth.   period.

Even though the post was addressed to you, it was really meant for other individuals on that thread. I know that you of all people understand what Tiger is going through and that progress is being made. There will come a day when all the nitpickers and the haters and the trolls will NEED to eat their words. They won't do it, of course, but they still will NEED to. I truly look forward to that day if only to SHUT THEM UP. Very tired of arm chair quarterbacks who have NEVER played a professional golf match in their lives expounding on what Tiger needs to do to win a golf tournament. This would be very similar to me telling Tom Brady how to throw a football---LOL.

Your Rory arguments don't make any sense.
Rors has exactly as many Majors as Tiger by the age of 22. Namely 1 !
Also Rory has won a professional tournament at age 19, which Tiger had not achieved by that age.

Not that I am implying that he might come close to Tiger's achievements, but just leave the poor humble kid alone.

I'm fed up with all the hate towards other players (Phil, Rory, Scott, etc.) which have done nothing to Tiger at all but being a class act. Tiger would actually laugh at those things because he maintains a good relationships with those players.

My goodness, he has been bashed by the media for longer than anyone else, is making sure he spends quality time with his kids, completely rehauling his swing and oh yeah, went through a divorce.  Doesn't matter who caused it, it is an emotional trauma that most human beings don't just get over in 1 or 2 years.  Not to mention the injuries.

weeMac......if you ever have really paid attention to him, his putting is not at all one of his strong points.  Watch him for awhile and you'll see, he misses those short putts just to the right or left of the cup routinely.  And when Tiger does get his putter going again we will finally see the end of playoff after playoff after playoff!

Good example.....DJ on the first day struggled as he usually does with his putting, but day two was firing on all cylinders.  What happened the next  day.  I won't take away weeMac being good from tee to green but have watched him in many many tournaments miss from 6'.  Maybe that is why he only has two wins.  God forbid they go through life experiences outside the ropes that they have to contend with and then be expected to just pick up any stick in the bag and play the way they used to.

Paul Casey and Lucas Glover have both gone through divorces of late and we certainly don't see what was their rising star at the same level they were playing previous to that.  AND, there is still no dominating player.

If you play golf you understand that usually when you are driving well some other part of your game isn't......that's golf.  AND try changing your swing completely, practice and stick to it and see how it bodes for you.

Interesting.....studies show that when in a conversation with a man within 5 minutes they will unprovoked talk about how much they make and it has proven to be true here.  Usually a sign of a need for recognition=low self esteem but frankly this takes the cake with your vanity.

Yeah, uh if you remember, that is supposed to be the most difficult tourney of the year but due to heavy rain they couldn't get the greens to the regular difficulty on the stimp meter........hey his record speaks for itself.  2 wins and Tiger was only 1 behind him at the HSBC this year with his 'B' game.

Love your name "tigerfan"
A true fan surports he's team or player in the good and the bad times.
Its so easy to find someone new too cheer for when you player is not preforming at his best.
But you have already jumped on the Rory boat so dont come crawling back when Tiger starts to preform againg.
Listen here bud, not you or anyone else can keep Tiger down.
So if you want to set an good exemple for your kids, you teach them to be good to others, forgive people for their mistake. And to stay true to the people you love and like.
