My goodness, he has been bashed by the media for longer than anyone else, is making sure he spends quality time with his kids, completely rehauling his swing and oh yeah, went through a divorce. Doesn't matter who caused it, it is an emotional trauma that most human beings don't just get over in 1 or 2 years. Not to mention the injuries.
weeMac......if you ever have really paid attention to him, his putting is not at all one of his strong points. Watch him for awhile and you'll see, he misses those short putts just to the right or left of the cup routinely. And when Tiger does get his putter going again we will finally see the end of playoff after playoff after playoff!
Good example.....DJ on the first day struggled as he usually does with his putting, but day two was firing on all cylinders. What happened the next day. I won't take away weeMac being good from tee to green but have watched him in many many tournaments miss from 6'. Maybe that is why he only has two wins. God forbid they go through life experiences outside the ropes that they have to contend with and then be expected to just pick up any stick in the bag and play the way they used to.
Paul Casey and Lucas Glover have both gone through divorces of late and we certainly don't see what was their rising star at the same level they were playing previous to that. AND, there is still no dominating player.
If you play golf you understand that usually when you are driving well some other part of your game isn't......that's golf. AND try changing your swing completely, practice and stick to it and see how it bodes for you.
