Miller hasn't been a huge Tiger fan, but he's honest in his approach to Tiger. This is why we should like Miller, he's not a gladhander, he says what's on his mind and sometimes that rubs people the wrong way. Remember, he said some unkind things about Jack's game as he struggled in later years. When comments come from educated sources, we must treat them differently than comments from the peanut gallery. Most of the golfing media has no clue about the pressures inside the ropes, and those pressures are ten-fold for competitors at the top of the food chain. Johnny Miller was, in his prime, the best of the best and he knows better the pressures faced by Tiger than any of Tiger's fans or other golfing media that may have competed, but never at his level and therefore Miller can say what he thinks; I'll listen!
