HEY 2005,

 

I agree . . .typically, I don't waste time with the other golfers . . .  HOWEVER . . .

After watching the knuckleheads on ESPN (790 The Zone) constantly "use" Tiger Woods' name to promote their Masters' coverage (only to trash him and ignore him, once the tournament began). . .  that really ticked me off !

When I compare and contrast Tiger's record, with the golden boys the media tried to promote, I was reminded, once again, that all things being equal (health wise, etc.) , the (great) TIGER WOODS has no competition.

EYE wrote a song about it !!

When Tiger played as poorly as he did, and was essentially non-competitive, why wouldn't they ignore him?
You're saying that Tiger has no competition...but at the Masters we all saw that he provided no competition to any of the contenders. Am I missing something?

right now he reminds me of Tiger when Tiger first

came onto the scene ( except for his clothing,etc. )

Tiger  ( like Rickie now )  was so busy making money

he did not have time to practice golf.........  much.

so.   exits Hughs Norton (Tiger's first agent ) and enters 

Mark Steinberg.   it all got straightened out.

Tiger learned to make money and play good golf all

@  the same time. 

but i kinda think Rickie might be more along the lines of

Ian Poulter.    Poulter is a good golfer, but he seems

more interested in his clothing line (business)  than golf

right now.    and i am beginning to wonder if making money

(endorsements )  is Rickie's focus right now as opposed to

playing his best golf.

anyway yall.   have a heart.   we're talking about Rickie Fowler.

he's an OSU-er.   their colors are Orange!!!

come on.   plus, he is actually playing pretty good right now

in New Orleans.   he finished his second round @ -8  which is

only two off the lead.................  right now.
