He hit so many great irons that day that I doubt he "mailed it in". I appreciate that logic after watching how badly he was beaten, but he just couldn't putt. I mean wow could that man not get comfortable on the greens.
While Abu Dhabi was a complete loss of control from tee to green, the loss at Pebble came predominantly from the greens. He cares, he's just not as impervious as he used to be.
