so kelly tilghman is doing the Olympics on NBC?  Have they transferred her from the golf channel?  wondered why she hasn't been around the golf set much of late.

Golf Channel and NBC are owned by the same company. NBC has so much Olympic coverage that they probably need all the help they can. If golf were in the Olympics this year, Golf Channel would probably cover it as they probably will in 2016.

The best thing that could have happened to the U.S. was getting down early. It woke them up and they turned into a force after that. They are sooo much better than last year's WC runner-up team. Alex Morgan has turned into a premier killer alongside Wambach. They can bring this girl Sydney Leroux off of the bench who has scored 7 goals in 14 apps. They can score in bunches. The defense was shaky today, but it was early and very nervy. I can't wait to see how this tournament develops.

Hard to imagine them losing if they attack like they did in the last 75 minutes.

U.S. women's soccer takes the field again today for their 2nd match against Colombia. Should be simple for the U.S. They crushed Colombia in the WC last year, and are playing with confidence now.
