    • SHOULD FIGJAM FIRE BUTCH HARMON
  • 7/21/12
Well, the reality is the Figjam has not gained anything with Butch Harmon, and BC was suggesting that Tiger should go backwards to BH for another swing change, when we all can see the results of the good from SF as Tiger's swing coach. I meant my comment as tongue-in-cheek about Figjam hiring Hank Haney. We should all remember that Figjam is already honored deeply and in the International Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine. So, when I said, "Otherwise, it is time for Figjam to retire and rest on his laurels," I meant it. Everyone has seen Figjam's enbrel ads on TV and now that his body is catching up with his game. Sad, but true. Not every golfer can play till they are 60 like Tom Watson on the PGA tour. Lastly, I basically am sick and tired of BC thinking he knows what is best for Tiger, and he ought to concentrate more on Figjam and others, struggling with their games. Tiger's game seems fine to me. Really, no offense intended, except at BC where it is deserved for his jealousy at giving up the game to become a broadcaster. Everyone knows what BC is all about. His analysis has been totally wrong about Tiger for half a decade now. Enough said. Enjoy moving day, as I know I will.

No, guys Phil is fine. He just doesn't really care about golf that much anymore. He really only gets up for a few tournaments every year. He gets up for the west coast swing and the majors every year. He always wins at least one tournament on the west coast swing, and contends in at least one major every year. He contended in the Masters this year, that was his one major. Maybe he wins the PGA Championship, who knows, but Phil only care about about 6 or 7 tournaments per year. I could really imagine Phil retiring in a few years just because he doesn't care that much about golf anymore, just like Greg Norman who retired at 50 and skipped the Champions Tour, he just has other interests besides golf.

Totally agree!   I am definitely not a Phil fan but have a great deal of compassion if he is suffering from poor health!

It's a shame you can't call him by his name. Your lack of respect for a man who has done nothing to you is pretty sad.

AUTOIMMUNE ARTHRITIS IS NOT THE SAME AS REGULAR. I HAVE LUPUS AND RAYNAUDS IS RIGHT ALONG WITH IT. WHEN I SAW 2 GLOVES COME OUT IN COLD WEATHER I KNEW WHAT HE WAS PROBABLY GOING THRU. YOU CAN LOSE YOUR FINGERS. I AM NOT A PHIL FAN BUT WHAT HE HAS IS WORSE THAN ANYONE CAN KNOW. LUPUS IS LIKE LIVING WITH A RATTLESNAKE. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN OR WHERE IT WILL STRIKE. RIGHT NOW I AM BEING ATTACKED IN THE LUNGS. NOT FUN. I FEEL FOR HIM. I THINK TIGER WILL SURPRISE TOMORROW AND I AM GLAD THAT HE IS NOT WITH ADAM.

Good post, thank you
Also not a Phil fan, but over the years he could be fun to watch. (not when leading over Tiger lol )
As I said, not a fan, I do feel sorry for the health issuses he and his wife/mother/son and daughter have been going through.
The name figjam is derogatory and was given to him by tour players.
Posting the following because many people don't know it;
Have a good day  ;-)
