I enjoy tennis and was glad to see Sharapova win the 2012 French Open singles title.     However, my favorites are Federer, Nadal and the Williams sisters.    I was sorry to learn that Venus lost her day 1 match.     Also, James Blake and Isner lost too.    After reading some other comments under this thread, it does not surprise me that so many have anti-Serena Williams feelings.   Serena like Tiger has shown greatest as an athlete and both of their records supports their standings as titans in their respective sport.

I hope Serena,an America, goes forth and wins the singles title @ Wimbledon this year.   Oh yes, I hope Serena and Venus take the double title too!

  

Not a Sharapova fan simply because of how vocal she is!  I have never liked it.  It's unnerving to me!  I love Federer!  Classy guy!!!

And the Bryan Brothers but they show so little of the doubles!

I'm a huge Nadal fan. The fact that Federer passed him in the rankings is a joke. Nadal is arguably still the best player in the world, if not 2nd.

Are you kidding me? I love Venus - and Serena too. I can only hope that your LOL means you were only kidding? Personally, I'm rooting for Rafa Nadal. Just finished
reading a book about him. What he and the rest of them go through in order for their bodies to sustain the beatings they take is incredible. Ice baths after matches, etc.

Andy Murray? Doesn't stand a chance. Hah!

You must really hate Wolzniacki after her tantrum at the French Open or Sharapova for her outbursts.

Like a bit of tennis myself,especially during the Grand Slams..I like Andy Murray but like you just feel he will fall short..Dont mind Novak either..Like Federer and Sharapova...Dont like Rafa though,Im waiting for the boooooos:))..

 

 

 

Just like there is no crying in baseball, there should be no grunting in tennis.    I blame the noise making on Monica Seles.    She brought that aspect to professional tennis.    The governing bodies in tennis allowed grunting to become part of tennis.    :(  Nevertheless, I am a Sharapova fan.
