KLOUDY,

EYE AGREE . . . about the total disrespect for Tiger shown by Billy Payne at Augusta National in 2010.

Payne was involved with The Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996, before going to Augusta National.  I didn't like him then; and I don't like him now; and Eye don't mind saying it.

With reference to the new female executive at IBM; it is so obvious that Augusta National failed to offer her an invitation for membership at Augusta National (the way they traditionally have done with previous (male) executives at IBM); whether she is a golfer, or not.

BEAT,

Not only does the media avoid talking about other golfers not playing well; they totally avoided highlighting the long list of so called champion golfers that actually failed to make the cut at The Masters; they choose to trash Tiger and highlight his mistakes . . . instead.

PADDY,

EYE agree . . .

I have noticed the same thing this week; (former) Tiger fans that now seem to be very defensive of other golfers); and have become openly and increasingly critical of long time loyal Tiger fans.

Call me crazy; BUT . . . I joined The Tiger Wood's Website, to support TIGER WOODS.

If I wanted to rally for other golfers; then, I would log onto their websites and go for it.  I am not saying they are not welcome here; however, they should not be surprised to find that we love TIGER WOODS !

HEY SHEN,

Eye agree . . .

We seem to have a few "sleeper cells" among us . . .

They befriend us; pretend to agree, just to blend in; then wage their subtle attacks from within Club Tiger.

The ones that can't seem to discuss Tiger, without reminding us of his faults and mistakes he made in the past.

We do not have to agree with everything Tigers says or does. Lord knows I don't agree with everything he does. Tiger is not above criticism but, it's another thing to come on tw.com and get mad at Tiger fans simply because they are not praising other golfers to your liking. It's crazy.

If you want to sing the praises of Phil & Rory, sing it from the mountain tops but, don't expect me and the others to join the chorus. We don't have to like them  because you like them.

VG, you're right. Many here are quick to view any comment that doesn't totally support Tiger as hatred, yet have no qualms being quite hateful themselves when it comes to talking about McIlroy or Mickelson. The old double standard is alive and well here at Club Tiger!

I must agree with you 110%
Tiger is my favorite golfer.
I am a fan of others too, they are not my favorite.
I don't have to listen to or like the talking heads ALWAYS adding Phil and Rory to any story
about another golfer no matter who it is.
Before some nut again says I am a hater of Phil and Rory, I say NO, just not a fan of them.

As you know only the returners of many names have an opinion, be that as it may;

I HAVE A RIGHT TO MY OPINION AND DON'T CARE IF A FEW RETURNEES DON'T LIKE IT.

Dear eyeofthetiger

Another stat that i quote alot is that tiger has won 1/4 tournaments played in his career(including the long drought that has just ended).
Nicklaus? 1/12
mickelson? 1/12

Who is the the greatest of all time??
its no contest

I am a Big Tiger fan like the rest of you guys, but can you imagine the enormous pressure he must feel everytime he plays.
People expect him to win everything.(just read the message boards)
and guess what?? He Can'T and He Won't
This is golf .(most difficult game in the world)
Look at the names of those who finished close to him at the Masters. You will see Mcilroy and Donald.this WILL happen.
He should learn the lessons and move on.

I think he needs to focus on his game and not the expectations or the results.
Results will follow. We know how good he is, but I feel the expectation is actually delaying sustained success.
