Exactly what I think, we also forget that these companies had financial trouble and lost a lot of revenue in 2008 and 2009 because of the recession and economic problems during that time which means most of them would have left anyways even if there wasn't a "good reason" to do so.

Heard Johnny Miller on the Morning Drive this AM.....he predicts Tiger will win 4x in 2012.....gotta love him!!  He said the Chevron victory will carry him forward even though some claim it was really a non-event with a weak field, he stated a win is a win!!  He also predicts Tiger will be back to #1 by end of 2012!!  I also enjoy listening to Nobilio, Raymer and Rosenfelt ... all are quite fair.

One thing that is very true about the media....they can be biased....but you know, even when Tiger was not playing, he was talked about every tournament.  There will always be the comparison of old-Tiger to new-Tiger, young guns to Tiger of old and new, etc., etc.  His status as the greatest golfer over a 14 yr period puts him in the news!

I agree vg, although Johnny Miller sometimes seemed to get caught up in the moment with some other commentators but he does call it like it is when he is actually analyzing.  And as sms has stated, my biggest complaint about this entire ordeal is the inequality of it all.  Even though Tiger is a span of 14 years has been the greatest to ever walk a fairway, a personal problem is exactly that and  we all know MANY of the Pros aren't saints by any stretch while on tour and away from home so I would deduce from that, if they were true golf analyst any Pros personal life would be off limits!  All of 4 women came forward yet we heard numbers from 13 to 30 and the atty of all attys dropping her client says something.  I would bet that many of the pros have fallen into the same trap, heck in this months Golf Digest there was even a question posed to the caddies if there were women throwing themselves at the caddies.  Some took them up on their offers while others didn't.  So my point is JUST ANALYZE and why promote this kind of idiocy when one of their largest advertisers includes cialis and Morning Drive along with the 19th hole have some woman in a "going out to party" resque dress while they continue to say they are a "Gentlemens Sport?"  Just exudes that women have their place, Tiger only is scrutinized and cialis is the answer to all of your troubles.  Another interesting note is Yani Tseng wasn't even mentioned as being in contention for "Player of the Year" while she broke even Tiger's records.  Rory wins twice and completely blows up at the Masters and he's it.  Kind of puts it all in perspective and it isn't pretty!
