The President's Cup?   Shaking my head. From the sublime to the ridiculous.  What is especially sad is Tigers record is is beyond incredible.
Tiger does NOT need his record boosted with false information.
The President's Cup. You have to be joking?

Whether it is two PGA Tour wins and a OWGR points tournament win or just two PGA wins, who really cares?????  He's trending in a upward direction and that's really what counts for me. Earlier this year, there was a thread, "which major for Tiger this year". I thought that his best chance was the PGA in August and I hold to that.

Tiger did not WIN a major every time he stepped to the major tees. 3 in 2000, 2 in 2002, 2 in 2005, 2 in 2006. The other major WINS were in isolated years. It is the negativists who make the noise when Tiger does not win each major. As anyone can see, Tiger is the only player out there in competition with Jack's record. Tiger, ignore them. You are doing just fine.

Please Doug.....the President's Cup is not counted as a tour win.....and the Chevron also does not count as a tour win.  Yes, when you look at Tiger's "Schedule & Results" page you will see a "1" along side the President's Cup and also for the Chevron.   Please understand, that Tiger has only won 2 PGA Tour events in the last 6 mos.......The 73 wins for Tiger & Jack is the correct number (which, by the way, includes their majors)......

Doug:

I'm sorry; but please calm down with the wins summary, you're preaching to the choir.  I can quote his career record, who finished second, where he won, etc, out of my memory. I agree that Tiger has won three times in last year, 2- PGA tour events and 1 non-tour event, that got OWGR points. Most Tiger fans know his record and we are not questioning it.

I'm confident Tiger will get back into winning majors, I'm thinking this year.

Doug is obviously having a hard time keeping Bill from taking over his thought processes.

Chucking to myself while reading this post VG. You say Tiger has only won 2 PGA events in the past 6 months. Chucking because I am wondering how many golfers on the PGA tour would LOVE to be able to say: Oh, I have only won twice in the past 6 months on tour. LOL. We have some pretty high expectations of our guy don't we???? LOL.
