First and final warning - we do not use profanity, as you could see when you were censored, even thinly disguised.   We also do not tell other posters to "stick it".   Disagreement is fine, lack of basic civility and bad manners are not.

Straighten up or leave.

OK. I disagree with every fiber in my body.

You don't think his " goodbye" shows a lack of civility?

I think his goodbye showed common sense - you were determined to be inciteful and Paul exited the conversation.   I suggest you let it drop.

With no one to swap views with it will die a natural death.  If others wish to chat about a very controversial topic it will have life. That is what conversation is about?

I think if two of the greatest ever to play the game felt it was wrong it must be an interesting topic.

If Paul no longer wishes to discuss it that's fine.  No big deal I'll return the kiss.

I don't know much about the controversy surrounding Casey and the use of a golf cart as I was not  watching golf at that time. Today, I watched the interview with Casey and was very impressed with his candour and honesty.  It was such a pleasant interview not only about his own life, the difficulties he has had to face but about his relationship with Tiger..all told so spontaneously and with a lot of humour.  I was quite impressed with this individual as he did not shy away from any questions. He was asked a fair number of questions about Tiger and he answered them so  candidly and honestly that I believe the reporters were  really enjoying the interview. He seems to be very fond of Tiger, told a funny but true anecdote about winning  a small sum of money from Tiger and Tiger trying to win it back. Casey won and Tiger had to pay up..a  copy of the cheque which he has kept as a souvenir. Since he has been coaching for many years,  he was asked if he had seen any newcomers whose ability  matches Tiger's and without skipping a beat, he said that he has never seen anyone who measures up to Tiger's talent. Like the reporters, I really did enjoy listening to this interview..it was heartwarming, refreshing, classy and so positive.

It truly was!  I'm hoping Casey does well in the tournament.  But even if he doesn't make it to the weekend, he has so many "positives" to take away......  A real class act!!!

Martin is a really nice guy. Very well spoken. Polite and witty. He still shouldn't be playing. Riding a cart is cheating.
