Kuki, I do agree with you that the media did their level best to capitalize on his mistakes but I don't think it will bring him down.  My concern about this entire ordeal is equality in reporting!  If it had been anyone else the coverage would have been over within two weeks if that.

Examples:  Lucas Glover after winning the US Open at Bethpage Black was caught in the act causing a divorce but was reported as "personal problem."  Does anyone know that Paul Casey is currently going through a divorce?  Not a word by TMZ, er I mean TGC and certainly not sensationalized especially as one of their "young guns."  Thank God he has a "W" under his belt going into 2012!  And I still have faith that he will reach his goals!!

Wait until the top ten come back next season and have to play courses that don't have fairways that are twice as wide as they are here nor do they have the multiple hazards that the US has.

Tiger was left with almost no sponsors

because of Jhnny Miller and his buddies.

This is as insane as it gets? You really think Miller has sway over multi billion corporations like Gillette? You think the CEO's of Accenture and AT&T sit in their boardrooms and chat about what Miller says?

Did not know anything about that and I also didn't know about casey and also weemac dumping his irish girlfriend over and over again. Your right they seem to only care about Tiger and what he does or doesn't do. There is no way that he is the only person in golf that has had multiple affairs. They are so biased it's criminal.

Exactly what I think, we also forget that these companies had financial trouble and lost a lot of revenue in 2008 and 2009 because of the recession and economic problems during that time which means most of them would have left anyways even if there wasn't a "good reason" to do so.

Heard Johnny Miller on the Morning Drive this AM.....he predicts Tiger will win 4x in 2012.....gotta love him!!  He said the Chevron victory will carry him forward even though some claim it was really a non-event with a weak field, he stated a win is a win!!  He also predicts Tiger will be back to #1 by end of 2012!!  I also enjoy listening to Nobilio, Raymer and Rosenfelt ... all are quite fair.

One thing that is very true about the media....they can be biased....but you know, even when Tiger was not playing, he was talked about every tournament.  There will always be the comparison of old-Tiger to new-Tiger, young guns to Tiger of old and new, etc., etc.  His status as the greatest golfer over a 14 yr period puts him in the news!
