hey doug,

of course these are awesome stats.

but @  That means, 3 in 4, Tiger will not win.

i just wanna say, unless he improves  his chances.    and anything is possible.

UPT:

Over Sam Snead's career, he probably played in over 800 PGA tour tournaments, with 82 wins, about 10%. Jack Nicklaus had around 15% winning percentage. So, Tiger's 25% winning percentage is really very impressive. This year, 3 wins in 12 tour events.

Tiger is getting ready for the next big tournament, He doesn't care and he shouldn't.

I doubt it. That is the beauty of statistics, as they are a compilation of random events over time, and can be studied in any number of ways. You always must considered the generator of the stats, and in this case they are Tiger, so obviously, injuries, etc., alters the data input, but no doubt Tiger is actually doing BETTER in 2012 than the average. Better than most, BEST of all the rest.

tcn,

yeah.   a 25%  winning average is beyond awesome.

and Tiger is not even playing his best yet.

i only look for improvement from Tiger going forward.

and the 10%  and 15%  winning averages ain't bad

either.

GO TIGER!!!

:-)

doug.   yeah.   i  agree.  but stats also prove

when someone has improved over time as

well.

right now, Tiger is not playing his best golf.

and he always wants to get better, and if he

improves his stats, i will not be surprised @ all.

but his current stats are pretty mind boggling

as they are.

time will tell what he accomplishes  going

forward.

:-)
