    • I guess it's not Tiger's time

I heard Tiger's review of what he was trying to do at #6......risky......surely nothing I would ever attempt :-))

I believe it was David Feherty who said "if Tiger didn't win the next 7 majors he would still be ahead of Jack." (not years!).  At age 36, both Jack and Tiger have won 14 majors.  Jack won his 15th (British Open) at 38, added #16 & #17 at 40, and #18 at 46.   So Tiger is right on line with Jack!  He'll get it done and I honestly believe it will be before he turns 46 :-))))

I was pleased that Ernie got to lift the Claret Jug.  He ranks right up there with Stricks & Furyk on my favs list.  It's been a decade since Ernie won a major!!!  So happy for him :-))

Tiger is having a fabulous year and there's still so much more to come!!

Did you read that if Tiger didn't win another major for the next 9 years he would be in the same position Jack Nicklaus was for majors at his age. Unbelievable.

 Shenlee, are you for real?

Sorry. I made an error. It was if he did not win the next 7 majors he would still be on line with where Jack Nicklaus was. You know, I am human. l I make mistakes.

Thanks for the clarification VG. I thought when I was reading that nine years was a long time. I didn't really think it through.

And I agree. If I hit a ricochet shot it is purely by accident----never intentional----LOL.

No problem......I heard David Feherty on Morning Drive......he's sometimes hard to understand with his accent!!  Oh how I wish Tiger would let him do a show of his life :-))))

Me too, Shenlee......I often try some of the Tiger and Mickelson shots, but rarely get the same results!!  I did hit it through a tree one time....the branches formed a perfect "V" and that golf God led my ball safely through to the fairway!!

Our course has a HUGE cottonwood tree on the right side of the fairway on a long par 4. Invariably my tee shot will set me up to have to hit through the V so that shot I have practiced a lot----LOL. One of these days I am going to drive it straight on that hole and see how the course plays from the normal angle---LOL.

OK

I sent David an e-mail suggesting Tiger as the subject of David's show. No response, naturally, but I agree with you. It would certainly be an interesting subject. In my opinion, David and Tiger are quick-witted and the questions and responses would be great. David would not be reluctant to ask "those" questions, whatever they are and Tiger would be skillful enough to sidestep them to be interesting.

I so enjoy Feherty......his wit, his own life story, and his total respect and support of Tiger.  I do hope someday Tiger agrees to go on his show for I'm sure Feherty has extended an invitation:-)))
