You don't know anything about golf Jack er......what was your last username, names?  Where have you been for the last 2 years in not supporting Phil as he fell out of the lime light.....guess he was just unlucky.  I would personally say that his arthritis had something to do with not playing well for almost as long as Tiger.  Now I don't know what to believe, pure, raw talent with is arthritis.....so yes, he had a good day but because you know nothing about golf, you would realize that luck has a lot to do with it too.  Just as Tiger has been lucky, showing it on TV and humble enough to say that he didn't play well.  But again, I'm talking to someone who knows nothing about golf.

Bill, Michelson played a great round of golf.  His driving was great his GIR was great.  When you are playing well you tend to get the odd break.  Sinking longs putts are not breaks. Bouncing off trees into the middle of fairways are luck.

You say his round was the luckiest ever.  That is not true. Michelson played one of his most controlled rounds ever. I agree it was totally Un-Phil-Like, but he did it.

Saying he was lucky is hogwash. Have the guts to give praise when it's due.

EXACTLY Bill!  There really is no comparison!

Last post to you Jack, little tip for you, start from the beginning of the thread and re-read what people have said and you may find what you seek!  How many names do you have now....rhetorical question....BYEEEE!

Paddy, lets leave it for the others on here to cast their vote.

If you think Phil was lucky on Sunday good for you. You are welcome to your opinion. I don't share it and I doubt if many do. I have no interest in carrying on a debate with someone who took the game up last Monday.

All credit to Phil. Might have been his best round ever. No luck involved. Can you point out one bit of luck ?

Considering how he's played in the previous 2 tournaments I would say some luck was involved. He did not even make the cut at Farmers and he stunk it up the following week. Now I'm reading articles that say Rory won't be able to compete with Phil after they have spent the last 6 months crowning Rory as the King of Golf.

Where was the luck?  It's a very simple question. Bill says it was the luckiest round of his life.  If you can point out where the luck happened I'll agree with you.

It's all good upt.....mine was just a suggestion anyway, you are spot on......Tiger will figure it out anyway!

I just told you he had been struggling this year and struggled for the first 3 rounds.
See if he can do it again in the coming months.
