WOW, And he/they complain about French. Do as I say not as I do?

WHAT? We don't speak French in Scotland!  LMSBO

yes they have totally different views of the world.   But makes the pairing all the more interesting.  Tiger will talk some to Phil, some to Bubba (whom I expect doesn't really care right now about golf at all.  His world his is new son)  But mostly they will have their heads down and keep to themselves.

I do think it is an advantage though to start on the back nine.  Maybe get some birdies going before playing the first six holes which could derail many rounds.

Paul, from 1997 until now, do you know how many times either Tiger or Phil won when they were paired together?  Were there many letdowns?

Been looking for how many wins by each when paired, no luck yet.
Letdowns ??

A letdown would be when neither of them performed up to the hype.

Yes, I just don't know how many, if any.

I did find on an ESPN article that says, their overall record in head-to-head match-ups Tiger is 13-13-4,

Phil owns an 8-3-1 record against Tiger since 2007.

It's not the first 2 rounds that matter the most. They are not really going head to head unless playing the final round together, with the title on the line. Personally, I have always thought the media have completely hyped the rivalry and so called dislike between the two. Sure they may not be best buddies, that is only natural when you look at their personalities, however, they both can get along quite well with each when teamed up. It just makes good press to hype this up. Kongo
