Sorry Villages but I do not concur. My problem was with the title of the post: Does Tiger care anymore?

No one has the right to make a determination as to whether an individual cares about golf or any other aspect of THAT person's life. And that is where my problem is and why I still believe that this is the work of a troll.

I often see the "you're not a pro golfer therefore keep your mouth closed" argument on these boards and it is utterly ridiculous and
warped with backward logic.

So do you not participate in political discussions because you're not a professional politician? So are you going to just keep shut and
accept whatever policy your mayor/senator/president come up with even if they directly conflict against your interests? Are you going to
give up your basic right to make your voice heard because you're not professionally involved in the field?

With the same logic, so if you're at a restaurant and you're served with a very distasteful meal, would you not criticize it because
you're not a professional cook?

How about people on the opposite side of that spectrum? How about UPT whom literally pretends to talk to Tiger and give him directions during
rounds? Is she not allowed to do that because she's not a professional golfer? I mean afterall, what could she possibly offer Tiger that he
doesn't already know? I don't see anybody telling her to shut it, double standard much?

What are you people even suggesting? I can not get my head around on how it is even possible, as an active rational agent capable of having
independent and objective thoughts, to just BLINDLY worship Tiger (or anyone or anything else in the world) no matter how poorly he plays.
That is not being a "true fan", that is surrendering the only thing that makes you human (your rationality) and succumbing to the level of
sheeps.

We're all Tiger fans here who have invested countless hours upon hours of time and money in him, at the end of the day, most of us want him to do well
and come out with a W and be entertained in the process. This is a public forum for discussing everything that comes with the said process (including the
ups AND downs) in a civil and democratic fashion, none of you rule another member with an iron fist. Just as we can celebrate and high 5 each other
when Tiger plays well, it is also equally within our right to voice our dissatisfaction or concern when he craps the bed like he did on Sunday. If you think
you're in some Utopia land where it's rainbow and sunshine everyday then you're in for a rude awakening.

Ok. Let's flip this around. I am now and always will be a FAN of Whitney Houston's. Did I like the fact that she abused drugs? No I did not. Did I go on a public forum and tell her how to live her life and how to stop her drug dependence. No I did not. That is not the job of a Fan. I admired and respected her music. That is what a Fan does. Admire and respect the individual for what their achievement in life is. Not to tell that person how to be better at what they do.

I do not consider the statement: Does Tiger care anymore? to be constructive for Tiger nor productive in any manner. It is a statement made to anger true fans on this forum. Nothing more Nothing less.

I am not sure what I was supposed to respond yes to. Do you mean to the statement Does Tiger care anymore? If so then my answer is yes. If that is not the question you are referring to let me know what the question is, please. And I do apologize for my outburst of the other evening. I had an endoscopy coming up the next day and frankly I was in a pretty bad mood. So when I read your question it really ticked me off. I should not have gone off on you like I did.

And I am not a shill for Tiger Woods, though I wish I was. That would mean I had a personal relationship with Tiger which would be the most awesome thing in the world.
