Osubass, I was standing right behind Tiger when that incident happened. Tiger didn't throw his club at all. He let it go, but unfortunately it bounced, and instead of falling to the ground, it went into the crowd. Actually, no one was really bothered by it ,as we could all see it wasn't a bad tempted throw, but a frustrated drop. sometimes the video's just don't show exactly what happened. Kongo

Thanks Kongo. I remember you reporting back to the forum from that tournament. I'm glad it wasn't a club toss, but... didn't look good. Oh well. Hoping for a better outcome at his next outing.

semantics doesn't change what happened.

either way, he "let the club go" so hard the lie had to be fixed. that's pretty significant with a driver considering how much effort it takes to change the lie on a driver.
