if you truly are concerned about revealing your location, consider this:

this website tracks your IP address. it doesn't take much effort to find your exact location just from your use of this forum or any other website you go to, for that matter.

 

using a proxy would help mask your location, but the time and trouble it takes to add a proxy server wouldn't make it worth it, not to mention if your ISP would even allow you to use a proxy server.

contrary to popular belief, being on the internet does not make you anonymous.

i know.  people have been on me about getting

and facebooking, etc.   i guess i have just been

procrastinating.

The only reason I established my twitter accounjt was to send occassional comments or questions to golf and sports journalists. Many times, they or their staff seem to keep up with them. Many polls are conducted on twitter.

99.9% of the stuff is just pure dribble and no sense.  Many times, it reads like two people having a private conversation and wanting everyone else to think they are cool.
