In the past, didn't TNT or USA Network show the rounds 1 & 2 of the U.S. Open?   I know the weekend was always on NBC.   

Depends.......I checked the tournament listings on pgatour.com.....the PGA will be on TNT

As I recall, ESPN has shared coverage of the U.S. Open on Thursday and Friday with NBC for at least the last couple of years. That sticks in my mind because I remember Chris Berman being part of the announcing team, and he seemed so out of place doing a U.S. Open.

It is on ESPN, morning until late evening.

 

 

 

I agree with you and I hope we don't have to see Chris Berman.     He is another reason why I do not watch the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.     He needs to retire.        :)
