Phil just called T Finchem and said his week off wasn't enough and he will need to withdraw again due to mental fatigue! If he thought his grouping with Ricky and Bubba was something with the cameras wait until next week!

That will definitely be the group to watch.

Wouldn't put it past Bubba to step to the first tee with Tiger and Phil next week and ask, "So, either of you guys win a major lately?"

Then Tigers says to Bubba but I have 14. You?

Two thoughts:

1. Makes sense from security point of view. They will be sensitive to cell phone usage, so combine the biggest draws together to simplify the first two days.

2. Tiger and Phil played together first two rounds in 2008. That worked out pretty well.

Phil has said he likes playing with Tiger, thinks it helps his game.

I don't believe they dislike each other as the media wants us to think.

This will be the spotlight group for two days. I Think they can't stand each other.

"I hope everything works out OK for them, Amy and I count Tiger and Elin as good friends."
Then too, when we see them on the range joking, laughing and once in a great while the man-hug.
