kuki,

you getting to see Tiger in so many tourneys

makes me think about moving to Florida.  ;-)

but so glad you got to see him again.

he is working hard on his game and someone

stated that Sean Foley said he is at about

50% of where he wants to be.

sounds great!!

thanks so much for sharing your tourney

experience with us.

That AWESOME Kuki.......Johnny Miller finally came out and stated on TV that picking apart Tiger's game is useless and served no purpose, gave him lots of kudos but of course there is always going to be the Chamblees and Faldo...........but Miller even asked the other commentators in the booth and they agreed.....enough was enough because the game of golf is HARD!

Just realized myself that Foley and Tiger have been working full time for only 8 mos.  He already got a PGA win and that beats the other 2 swing changes he went through.  Miller even said when he gets it altogether he'll be BACK!  Good news!

Now Chamblee is feeling bad for Kevin Na and that everyone should give him a break......Nobilo told him how would you like to be playing with him: how can the jerk give one person a break that affects play yet hammer Tiger for over 2 years?  He's so obvious that I honestly don't know how TGC keeps him.  Nobilo stood his ground and just shakes his head at Chamblee - I've noticed quite a few times, Nobilo rolling his eyes when Chamblee goes on one of his rants.

Good to hear from the other poster that Foley said Tiger is only about 50% there.

Thanks for checking in so promptly. I thought you might be a bit tired from all the activity and the excitement of attending the Players. Overall, I thought our Tiger did well. It truly was an up-and-down tournament for him, but he managed to get there. This is to the rest of the forum: I watched and listened to his pressers. Now this is just my perception, Tiger does not get quite as depressed after a bad showing as we do. Sure, he is down. He says he comes to win. Well , he does, but don't they all? And there can be only one winner. The Bible says that all run the race, but only one wins. Soon our Tiger will once again taste victory. Until then, don't look back too far and too often. Keep on keepin' on.

PS: Looks like the other fans have found another target for their cruelty in Kevin Na. Likely it won't be two and a half years though. He may not be as strong as our Tiger, but he will come out stronger and a better player. Congratulations to Matt Kucher. He'll be a wonderful champion--till next year and it will be our Tiger wearing the crown.

UPT,

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

FLORIDA IS A GOLF MECCA, THAT'S WHY ALL THE GREAT GOLFERS ARE MOVING TO HERE.

AND TO GO WATCH TIGER WITH THE FAMILY MEANS A WORLD TO ME. LIVE IN A HOTEL, ENJOYING ALL KINDS OF FOODS, WATCHING YOUR FAVORITE GOLFER PLAYING, IT'S SO MUCH BETTER THAN LISTENING THE CHAMBLEES AND HEAR WHAT THEY WANT TO SAY.

HAD FUN.

Paddy,

i wish i had heard Miller say that!   wow !!  and he is correct.

when everybody gets thru picking his game apart,  there's

around a total of about a million different things why Tiger's

game is what it is right now.   lol !!

well.  i am glad that he realized it and was man enough to say

it on t.v.     of course Miller is one of  my faves, so he gets

extra kudos from me.   lol !!!

yeah.  i head somone say that Sean told somebody else.....  lol !!

that Tiger is at about 50%  of  where he wants to be right now.

but let me ask you this?     how do you get the number of

8 months full time that Tiger and Foley have been working on his

game.   heck.  i knew he was ahead of schedule, but that is like

warp speed in "Tiger/golf world"  time.   2 years for the other

two swing changes and 8 months so far for  this one?

amazing!!!

:-)

Sounds like you had a great time. TPC Sawgrass looks like a great place to watch a tournament.
May I offer just one minor point? I know you're a great fan of Tiger, but you may have gone a bit overboard with one comment. You said: "Tiger made birdies wherever and whenever he needed just like old Tiger". If that were the case, he'd have won the tournament, wouldn't he?
After his round of 68 on Friday, I really had the feeling that he'd jump into contention on the weekend, but it didn't happen. As others have pointed out, this is a process and it appears to be headed in the right direction. The putting has remained inconsistent, for sure.
