Maybe.....maybe not! The point I was making was Miller has had a respectable golf career which gives some credibility to his being a golf analyst. His career was not just 2 majors!
Was it equivalent to or better than Tiger's to date? No. Have other golfers met and exceeded his record...Yes. Will some of the young guns exceed his record....Yes. But the point remains: Miller is worthy, based on his career on tour to offer commentary of current play. Plus, if we watch 7 nights @ the Academy, we just might learn something from him and the others (Nobilo, Faldo, Floyd).
My point in bringing Miller's record to this forum was to shed some light on who this man is. Some posters were really dissing the guy and it was apparent to me that they knew little if anything about him.
Personally, I don't care for this current trend of some to put down others and feel that the media is the enemy which needs to be distroyed. Perhaps we need to remember that Tiger nevers disses another player, nor does he attack the media for what may truly be unfair reporting. We often hear Tiger say, "It is what it is"....."Winning takes care of everything"....."He is entitled to his opinion". To attempt to "rally" Club members to boycott a show that will headline some of golf's great players is in my opinion not narrow minded, but closed minded.
