Your mailman sounds like a keeper wrapping the mail. I never knew they did that.

      I was glad and sad at the same time when my former mailman got a promotion.   He would safeguard the mail from the elements similar to how newspapers were protected.    He was such a gentleman to the extent when my mother passed away he attended her funeral.     :)     

 Count yourself lucky. My mailman shows up when he or she shows up and they've even left my priority mail envelopes under my doormat which is against the law from what I understand.

EXACTLY KD.....ONLY WISH OTHERS WOULD TAKE A LOOK AROUND WHEN THAT WAITRESS/WAITER WAS RUNNING THEIR TALES OFF!  I AGREE, THERE ARE BAD APPLES AND THEY DON'T DESERVE IT BUT FOR THE MOST PART AND IN MOST CASES YOU GET GREAT SERVICE.  MINIMUM WAGE DOES NOT FEED THE KIDS OR PAY THE BILLS.  AREN'T WE IN THIS ALL TOGETHER AFTER ALL!?

UNFORTUNATELY UPT, MANY OF THEM ARE OUR VIET NAM VETS......USED TO BE MY REGULARS WHEN I WAS WORKING!  SAD, WHAT WE DID TO THEM!

right now though,  we have a great mailman.
