It certainly was one of the most exciting Masters I've ever watched!  Oh, how I wished Tiger was able to convert a couple of those on the back 9.  And although it WAS sad for Rory, as Lee Westwood said, I think I might have to have a talk with the lad.  Never want to see someone fall apart like that, even Rory, but when you keep making statements that are disrespectful and use the excuse that it was taken out of context it's a bit like crying wolf.  At least today he was honest and chalked it up to inexperience and I am sure he had those baiting comments in mind when he said that.  We grew up respecting our elders and I wonder how old "The_Realist" is?  When I was working still as a Fire Captain, before we went to war, the kids that came on didn't understand respecting those that came before you.  It was quite different when we starting hiring the kids that had served in Iraq or Afghanistan.  They have extreme life experience beyond their years and without asking understood the importance of life experience and the chain of command.  When I read this thread, I knew that Rory hadn't been in the winner's circle much and often lost his lead going into the weekend so it was a bit surprising the comments coming out of this poster.

I noticed him on today's thread a bit, but the haters sure run and hide when Tiger starts to emerge as he has done so many times before.  LOVE IT!  THANKS AGAIN!

And here's hoping Tiger will bring us many more "thrills" like today....but, of course, with the trophy at the end!!

And oh how I agree with you about respect from the youngins....all youngins, not just those on tour.  Times have changed, I am sorry to say......people just don't give the respect that is do to others!!

The pre-bimbo Tiger would have won today. The post-bimbo Tiger played great on the front side...followed up the eagle on 8 with a great par save on 9...then tanked it on the back nine. In the pre-bimbo days, faced with Tiger's charge, the competition would have folded because they were intimidated...not any more...Day, Scott, and especially Schwartzel re-sponded to Tiger's charge by stepping up and outplaying him down the stretch. No more intimidation factor...
