Willie, many here are so caught up in the misguided notion that the evil media is out to get Tiger that they can't be bothered with acknowledging simple realities. OK, I get it that Haney may have "betrayed" Tiger by coming out with this book, and maybe he's a jerk for doing so. So what? It's a bit late to be worrying about that, as the book is ready to hit the bookshelves and likely to become a best seller.
They don't want to be made aware of any of Tiger's character flaws, especially when they're being exposed by Hank Haney. They'd rather just talk about popsicles and other insignificant parts of the book that might make Haney look silly.
By all accounts the Haney book is generating lots of pre-orders in advance of the 3/27 release date. as they say, inquiring minds want to know!

tiger's character flaws aren't as big as yours or mine. that's all that matters.

As more and more excerpts leak. I am finding that the tone of the book is mean spirited. Hank is mocking Tiger for his training regimen and his use of sports lingo. It comes of as nasty and petty on his part. I know there is some jealousy behind it. If Tiger was that big of a jerk he could have quit a long time ago. It's not like he was paying him a fortune but, he stayed until he got enough info for a book.
He talks about how he, Steve & Steinberg talked about Tiger behind his back and rolled their eyes every time he mentioned a new injury. It's clear to me Tiger has more than a few snakes in his camp.
