Yes. He was extremely professional and sometimes placed the mail within plastic against the rain & snow. He got a promotion and no longer delivers the mail.
I ALWAYS TIP A MAIL MAN BEFORE CHRISTMAS.
IN NEW YORK EVERYBODY TIPS THEM AND THEY MAKE GOOD GIFT MONEY BUT IN FLORIDA VERY FEW PEOPLE DOES,
I GIVE 20% IN THE RESTAURANT, BUT NEVER TIP THE DRIVE THRU.
WHEN I TAKE A EXIT FROM A HIGHWAY AND I SEE A NEEDY PERSON ON THE CROSSING, I ALWAYS GIVE THEM ONE DOLLAR FROM MY DAUGHTER, AND ONE FROM MY SON. GOOD DEED FOR THE DAY.

I was glad and sad at the same time when my former mailman got a promotion. He would safeguard the mail from the elements similar to how newspapers were protected. He was such a gentleman to the extent when my mother passed away he attended her funeral. :)
