They look like they were making an official appearance instead of enjoying a tennis match. The only thing missing was the palm wave. They didn't look relaxed. I don't know about being stalked. The only time I see Kate is when she's making official appearances and Pippa pops up every now and then. Diana was hunted and stalked. I don't see that happening with Kate & Pippa.

Perhaps they weren't dressed like the typical Madison Square Garden fans, but I saw two girls sharing lots of giggles and totally into the match. Both sisters are active tennis players, huge fans of the sport and have been seen at several tournaments. In fact, it was in Paris for the Roland Garros that Pippa was so followed by paparazzis that a male friend resorted to pulling a toy gun to scare them away (not the smartest thing to do but surely an indication of how they are being stalked). There are often pictures of Kate out grocery shopping or running errands (detailing every piece of clothing), but it probably helps that for the moment she is living on a remote island off the coast of Wales...

Have to agree with the rest of the gang!!!!   I thought they looked very comfortable ....you also have to remember that Kate Middleton has to watch every move she makes because the papparazzi are always watching her.  I've seen lots of pictures of Kate out shopping.  She isn't being stalked at this moment as Diana was for a lot of reasons  a) her husband isn't having an affair with another woman   and .b) William wouldn't put up with it again after what happened to his mother. 

Every time Kate is in public, ANYWHERE, she is representing the royal family and if she makes any faux pas, it will immediately be front page news......so to that extent, they were in a way making an official appearance.

However, I think you are being way too judgemental.....2 young women, sisters, were enjoying a tennis match but also sitting in the royal box and behaving with proper decorum.   In my opinion, other celebrities could take a page out of their book!

When photos appear of you grocery shopping in Wales, going to a local boutique, or in Pippa's case, going to work, you are definitely being stalked!   It's not like these are publicly announced photo ops - the papparizi have to be hanging around your home or business and following you to get these shots.   I personally would find it annoying and unnerving and I admire the restraint and good humor these women show.   ESPECIALLY since everyone knows what happened to Diana in Paris!
