I know nothing about basketball. How can a team game be compared to an individual sport?

Roger and Andy both spoke with class. Poor Andy was so choked with emotion. He had me reaching for the kleenex. LOL.

Because even though its a team game, one guy stepped up above everyone else in becoming one of the greatest athletes of all time.

Hmmm Not sure if I agree, but it's OK.  I know football and rugby and cricket and other team games. I've never known one player to be bigger than the team. Don't know why basketball would be different. I don't care for the game. Boring IMO

i watched the Federer / Murray match.   i was pulling

for Federer.   and my heart ached for Murray after
 
Roger's win.

but that is sports competition.   Murray will win one day.

but i am so glad that Federer won yesterday.

and like CC said.   many good basketball players, were

good, but they just couldn't beat Michael Jordan.

It was good to see Serena and Venus leave Wimbledon with championhip trophies.    Hopefully, they will return back to Wimbledon and play as well in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London too!!!     

Serena is in great shape to play two championship finals within hours on the same day and win both!!!
