Hi Bug......good to hear from you!  There's another thread, can't remember the name, but Haney is being sued by a Mother who sent her son to his school in NC for $40,000 promising one on one coaching.  The kid is very talented but spent all of 7 minutes with Hank during the 8 month school and has actually regressed in his golf.  There's a link, I think the thread is called Haney being sued.  He also advertised that he was still coaching Tiger at the time they signed on, but he wasn't.  Interesting read. 

I agree, don't think his show has much life left on TGC and I find it interesting that not one pro has hired him.  Wonder why?

Me too AB......changing swings from back, neck and knee surgery.  I was amazed how long it has taken me to change that muscle memory......still working on it and always revert back to the old swing at some point.  Boy howdy, am I focused when I'm doing that and I would imagine that the look on my face doesn't look like I'm having too much fun.  And I'm not juggling kids or battling the media. 

He's almost there, I have always said it is not his putting, it is the approach shot that he used to put so close most of the time.  I noticed tonight that they were finally talking about that on the 19th hole and at Tavistock he was hitting the approaches much better.  About 50% of the time he was at about the 10' putt.  Now, I am sure that with all the changes Foley has started building from the drive so he would be consistent and even admitted that it was his fault that he ignored Tiger's putting.  So, it looks like the approach is getting there and the putts will come.  He gets the win and the smile will be back. 

I thought it was great when he was interviewed the other day about his practice at Augusta last week.  Tiger said he took LaCava with him, no galleries and Joe was amazed how different the lines looked.  Tiger said they had a good time and Joe learned a lot.  Nice to see Tiger include him in that learning experience, LaCava had never been there without galleries so it was an eye opener for him.  By taking Joe, kinda shows me Tiger is trusting him more and creating a good working relationship with him.

All of us that have been on this site were disappointed at the events of 2009 and expressed that but in all honesty, Tiger is probably the only Golfer that will have the chance to break an historic record and we will be a witness too it.  So, we all just wish the media or naysayers (and I'm not referring to you) would just cut him some slack and watch history being made.  Let the man play Golf.....you know what I mean?  Heck, people become far worse just going through a divorce - look what Tiger has endured whether it was his fault or not, this man is a phenom!

Yeah, his coaching days are over. I'm still so surprised at Jaime Diaz, the co-author of Haney's book. I always admired what he wrote in the past. He even wrote an article on Tiger after the "fall" that I thought was very insightful and understanding of Tiger.
