I think it's a bit too late......unless someone can provide a roto-rooter!

Just try finding a rotor-rooter that's big enough.

From the dictionary, paranoia is described as: "baseless or senseless suspicion of the motives of others", and also "intense fear or suspicion, especially when unfounded". I think the word fits quite well as it relates to how many here view the Golf Channel.

Once again you're attempting to put words into my mouth. First, I didn't actually apologize to you for my use of the word "rabid". You made the assumption that I had meant something negative by it, when indeed that wasn't the case, and I said that I was "sorry you took it that way".
Paranoid? Well, a few of your comments regarding the Golf Channel do seem to suggest that you think they're out "to get Tiger", when pretty much any unbiased observer would hardly see things that way. But paranoid? I'll leave that for others to judge.

Okay, to Pen, since the dustup a couple weeks ago, I've been reading your posts very carefully and I have a question for you.   Are you here with the intention of being a "monitor", to correct the assertations of others and to critique their posts or do you have an honest interest in discussing Tiger and golf?

It is my observation that you seem to spend most of your typing time correcting or calling out other posters, often in a very slightly vieled insulting manner.  Please watch your tone.

Let me be clear to everyone - we don't need a contributor whose only purpose is to chastise other posters.   If you have a point to make about someone else's post, make it impersonally and move on.

Frankly, you'll all pardon me, but with the Masters approaching, I'm bracing for a slew of first timers, some welcome and some obviously not.   I really need all of our regulars to follow the rules, not go on attack, and be kind to each other so that I can weed through the influx of newbies!    And remember, quickest way to call my attention to a problem is through the board's email!!!
