My favs:  Masters, US Open, Open, PGA

Yes ESPN did a good job, just not an ESPN fan

 

 

 

My favorite majors are:

           1.   U.S. Open

            2.  the Open Championship

            3.  PGA Championship

            4.  Masters:  I disliked this major because there is too much glorification of Bobby Jones.   

 

 

 

 I like the old days whereby the Open Championship was shown on ABC and TNT.     "Those were the days my friends I thought they would never end."

then there is the US Open.

Many ppl view the PGA as almost another U.S. Open, but IMO some of the PGA layouts are more interesting than the U.S. Open layouts mainly because there are often more risk/reward in the PGA. (Not Always) Water is more in play. (Usually the PGA of America makes that a huge priority) and the rough is penalizing but its not flat out dead like it is at a lot of U.S. Open venues. My POV
